Adriana D. Herring is an independent creative producer and casting director originally from Richmond, Virginia and currently based in
Raleigh, North Carolina.
She graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) in 2021 with a Master’s in Creative Producing. Her first film she co-produced, "Homecoming" was accepted into the 2021 Reel to Real International Film Festival.
From there, she learned other on set roles for other projects such as "Miners" "The Cost of Admission" and "The Boys Outside" which was an official selection of the 2021 New Orleans, Indie Memphis, Carrboro, Charlotte, and Cucalorus Film Festival.
She realized her love of casting with the proof of concept "Family Meal" and after that production, cast for two more shorts - "Fireflies Save the Night" and "Sweet Pea" - as well as for the pilot episode of a web series entitled
"Who's Ya People."
"Fireflies Save the Night" was an official selection of the 2023 RiverRun, Beyond Cary, Charlotte, Tryon International, Portland, Indie Memphis, as well as the Cucalorus Film Festival. "Sweet Pea" recently premiered at the 2024 Beyond Cary Film Festival with several more film festival screenings planned in upcoming months.
In April 2024, Adriana launched Posi-Train Productions LLC, an independently owned and operated casting agency. She just finished casting for three productions and is available for casting services this Fall and Winter 2024.
When she is not casting or producing, she is a musical theatre performer, as well as a project manager and a SCRUM Master for a software company.
